For an initial trial order, treat the modification filing as a separate acceptance item. Agree in advance on delivery of model technical information, the local certification checklist, and feedback from the competent authority. Once received, have the personnel in purchasing, logistics, or after-sales who will actually use the information review it. If confirmation is only verbal at the sales level, the risk of treating an exportable vehicle as registrable and saleable in the destination country remains. Base later larger orders on this record and the principle that an exporter's statement cannot replace statutory destination-country certification and inspection.
