When putting temporary importation on a checklist, use fields that support review instead of simply writing "confirmed." Record the source, version, applicable vehicles, and expiration date for the declaration-elements sheet, duty and tax calculation, release conditions, and agent confirmation email, with a field for exception handling. This lets a new owner understand the basis and trace responsibility before gaps in declaration, valuation, or inspection information are discovered only after arrival.
