Before requesting final payment, a reliable exporter should provide clear evidence that the vehicles are ready for shipment. Essential documents include:
- Vehicle photos and videos: Recent, dated images showing the car’s exterior, interior, VIN plate, and odometer (for used cars).
- VIN confirmation: A copy of the VIN visible on the vehicle and matching the purchase contract.
- Pre-shipment inspection report: If applicable, a third-party inspection report from SGS, BV, or a similar agency confirming the vehicle’s condition and specifications.
- Bill of Lading (B/L) draft or booking confirmation: Proof that the vehicle has been booked for shipping and will be loaded on the vessel.
- Export documents: Commercial invoice, packing list, and certificate of origin (if required).
Starvia Automotive provides all these documents as part of our standard export process. We also share a VIN confirmation and inspection photos immediately after the vehicle is allocated, so you can verify before making final payment. Our MOFCOM license ensures full compliance with export regulations. For more on our documentation, visit our FAQ on shipping documents and export process page. Contact us for a CIF quote.
