Standard manufacturer warranty applies for vehicles shipped to markets where the manufacturer has authorized dealer or service partner:

Where Warranty Is Honored

Manufacturers operate authorized service networks across our main markets:

  • UAE, Saudi Arabia: BYD, Chery, Geely, MG, Haval all have authorized dealers
  • South Africa, Australia: Haval, MG strong networks
  • Russia, CIS: Haval, Chery
  • Brazil, Mexico, Chile: BYD, Chery, MG growing
  • Egypt, Algeria: Chery, MG limited presence
  • Kenya, Nigeria: Limited authorized service; warranty often honored via local dealer agreement

If your destination market does not have an authorized service center, the manufacturer warranty may not be honored directly. In those cases, Starvia provides alternative coverage:

  • Spare parts at OEM cost + 10% (no markup beyond cost of import)
  • 30-day Starvia warranty on key parts (engine, transmission, battery)
  • Free technical phone support during local service hours

Used Vehicle Warranty

Used vehicles come with:

  • 30-day key-parts warranty from Starvia covering engine, transmission, electrical system (excluding wear items)
  • No warranty on cosmetic items (interior wear, paint, suspension wear) — disclosed in inspection report
  • Original factory warranty if still valid (rare for used)
  • Battery warranty on used EVs: case-by-case based on battery State of Health (SoH) from inspection

Claims Process

If a vehicle has an issue covered by warranty:

  1. Document with photos and VIN
  2. Contact Starvia (WhatsApp or email) within warranty period
  3. We coordinate with manufacturer's authorized service in your market
  4. Repair performed locally with reimbursement of parts/labor as per warranty terms

If no authorized service exists, we ship replacement parts and reimburse local labor based on agreed rates.
