Our Primary Export Ports
1. Guangzhou Nansha
Our HQ port. Best for South China vehicles (Guangzhou-built BYD, GAC). Strong RoRo service to Africa, Southeast Asia, Middle East. Bonded warehouse for stock vehicles available.
2. Shanghai Waigaoqiao
The most-served Chinese export port. Best for Yangtze Delta vehicles (SAIC, Geely, MG, NIO, XPeng). Highest vessel frequency to Middle East, LATAM, Europe.
3. Ningbo Beilun
Secondary Yangtze port. Good for SAIC-Volkswagen, Geely Lingbo / Hangzhou builds. Often cheaper container rates than Shanghai during peak.
Secondary / Specialized
- Tianjin Xingang: best for North China builds (Haval, GWM, FAW Toyota, Hongqi). Strong service to Russia, Central Asia, Eastern Europe.
- Qingdao Qianwan: alternative for North China; sometimes cheaper to Mediterranean.
How We Decide
Starvia routes based on three factors:
- Where the vehicle is built or stored. Building near Shanghai → ships from Shanghai or Ningbo. Built near Chongqing → trucks to Shanghai (typical).
- Your destination's most-frequent service. Some routes have weekly Shanghai sailing but only monthly Tianjin.
- Cost arbitrage. Sometimes a 2-day inland transport saves $200/vehicle on the ocean leg.
You don't need to specify which port — we optimize for cost and timeline.
